We deliberately do not publish the house # until the evening prior to the first day of the sale to avoid early visitors.  There is always plenty of good signage. Starting about an hour before opening we hand out numbers so that our customers can wait in their cars or run a quick errand.  Often folks are waiting for numbers long before we even arrive, so it’s a good idea to get there early if there is something in particular you are interested in. These early arrivals should politely work out their order on their own.  We do not offer previews nor do we pre-sell…that would be most disappointing to our customers.  We also do not keep an inventory list or price sheet with us so we may not be able to answer those kinds of inquiries prior to the sale.  That said, we will be as accommodating as possible.

Please remember to avoid parking on any lawns, blocking driveways and mailboxes, and park ONLY on one side of the street so that vehicles can pass.  We will always support law enforcement’s efforts to maintain safety and order.

We have several workers facilitating the flow of the sale.  Most of these move from room to room answering questions and marking larger items as SOLD for customers. Some are authorized to negotiate, some are not.  In order to “stake your claim” on an item you cannot carry, you must request that a worker mark it with your name and make payment within 1 hour.  As a rule we do not “Hold” items for consideration or trips to the bank. Only committed purchases will be marked “SOLD”.

We usually have a dolly and a few simple tools for your use, but you MUST bring your own muscle to move large or heavy items…we have neither the strength nor availability to move your purchases. All purchases must be removed by sale’s end.  Bringing your own boxes, bags, and packing materials is a great idea as we tend to run out quickly.

Only small ladies’ handbags/purses and shopping totes/boxes will be permitted at sales, and all containers are subject to inspection for the security of our clients’ property.

Discounts are typically offered the final day of the sale.  While we love to make our customers happy, our first priority is to our client(s)–to make them the greatest return possible on their property.  We feel that we price the inventory fairly for our buyers from the outset and will begin to discount/entertain offers as a means to stimulate sales and move the inventory.  This process varies from sale to sale, therefore we do not offer blanket discounts as some other liquidation businesses do.  Rather we negotiate until the final moments of the sale!
